Kill Tony is listed at Moody Center in Austin on Thursday, December 31, 2026, with a 7:00 p.m. CT start. It is the last 2026 date currently on our tour page, and at an arena that seats more than 15,000, it is one of the biggest rooms of the year. This guide covers what the venue has confirmed, what it hasn't announced yet, and the practical details that matter on a night when much of downtown Austin will be out celebrating.
The confirmed details
Here is what Moody Center's official event page says right now:

Not announced yet: door time, a guest lineup, and whether a phone-free policy applies. Venues often post door times and show-specific rules in the final weeks, so check the official event page again during the week of the show.
What kind of show is this?
The venue bills this date simply as "Kill Tony," the main show hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe. That is different from "Killers of Kill Tony" dates, which feature the show's regular comedians and are not the full podcast taping format. No age restriction (unlike many tour stops)
Many Kill Tony tour dates are 18+ or 21+. This one isn't. Moody Center's page states there are no age restrictions. That doesn't mean the material is family-friendly. Kill Tony is an uncensored roast-style comedy show, so parents should decide based on the content, not the ticket policy.
Buying tickets: what the venue says
Moody Center's box office page is direct about this. The Moody Center Box Office and Ticketmaster are the only authorized ticket sellers, and Ticketmaster's Ticket Exchange is the only authorized resale option. The venue warns that tickets from other sources "may not be valid" and that it can't guarantee to honor, replace or refund them.
What that means for you:
- Start with Ticketmaster or the box office. Check face-value and Ticket Exchange availability there before looking anywhere else.
- If you buy elsewhere, know the risk. Resale marketplaces (including the sellers listed on this site) set their own prices and offer their own buyer guarantees. The venue does not back them. Read the marketplace's guarantee before you pay.

Your phone is your ticket
Entry at Moody Center is mobile-only. You'll use the Ticketmaster app, the Moody Center app or a mobile wallet. The venue says printouts and screenshots will not work. Before you leave for the venue:
- Make sure your tickets show up in the app under "My Events."
- If you're buying for a group, send each person their ticket in the app ahead of time instead of having everyone walk in together.
- Charge your phone. A dead battery at the gate on New Year's Eve is a bad way to start the night.
Moody Center links to a clear bag policy from the event page. Read it before you pack, because bags that don't follow it can slow down or stop your entry.
Getting there on New Year's Eve
Moody Center is on the University of Texas campus, just north of downtown. Expect heavier traffic than a normal event night, and leave early. Here are your options, based on UT Parking and Moody Center's own travel pages:
Parking. For concerts and shows, UT Parking lists Manor Garage (2017 Robert Dedman Dr.) at roughly $40–$65 and Trinity Garage (1815 Trinity St.) at roughly $30–$40. You can buy a spot ahead of time through the Moody Center website or pay when you arrive. On a holiday night, booking ahead is the safer choice.
Rideshare. The main pickup and drop-off zone is Lot 37 (the LBJ Library lot), about a block north of the arena near Red River St. and Clyde Littlefield Dr. Follow the signs and share your zone location with your driver. Surge pricing after midnight is likely. A 7 p.m. show may let out before the midnight rush, but don't count on it.
Accessible drop-off. Moody Center lists an ADA drop-off on the northwest side of the venue on Robert Dedman Dr., near Dell Technologies Plaza and the West Gate entrance. At the checkpoint, tell security that the passenger has a disability or limited mobility.
Transit. CapMetro's high-frequency routes 7, 10 and 20 serve the arena. Check CapMetro's holiday schedule before you rely on a late return trip.
Bikes and scooters. Bike racks are on the East and West plazas.
Making a night of it
A 7 p.m. start leaves room for the rest of New Year's Eve. If you have dinner plans or a countdown party afterward, leave plenty of time between them. Arena crowds take a while to clear, and rideshare lines get long. Pay for food, drinks and merch by card or phone. Moody Center encourages cashless transactions throughout the building.
If you're traveling in, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is about 8 miles from the venue. Moody Center lists the Fairmont Austin, the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center, and the Renaissance Austin Downtown as preferred hotels. Holiday hotel rates in Austin climb fast, so book early.

Is the Austin New Year's Eve show 18+ or 21+?
No. The venue's event page says there are no age restrictions for this event. Keep in mind the show contains uncensored adult comedy.
Can I print my Kill Tony tickets for Moody Center?
No. Moody Center uses mobile-only entry, and the venue says printouts and screenshots will not work.
